Lets start with the obvious: I cant sit here and drool over teenage girls. First, a lot of you have teenage daughters and I'm old enough to be their father, so it's a creep thing. Second, it's illegal in practice so talking about it wont be much better and might just insight some sort of riot.
What I would like to say is: Where were all the girls that looked like that when WE were 17? Ha. There were always good looking girls, but it seems as I get older, they dress to make themselves look older. They wear clothes that 25 year olds in a club looking for a weekender would wear. They strike some awfully seductive/suggestive poses on their myspace or other accounts and frankly, a lot of them could just plain pass for 20+. Of course, to be fair, I have seen a lot of you my age posing for the "I-took-my-own-photo-in-the-bathroom-with-my-phone" poses. Wife beater looking skin tight, lips pursed in the"I'm too sexy for you, I'm nice-to-a-point-but-dont-f*ck-with-me, pout and head cocked to the side to accentuate it all.
I have both been blessed and cursed for not having girls to raise. I often wish that I had been able to experience the joy of having a "Daddy's girl", but I will suffice with a "Grandpap's girl" someday. I have been told that the teenage girl is not so very different from the teenage boy. They both act like they are possessed from about the time puberty hits. We start by standing over their crib, watching to make sure they are safe. We now stand as far away as does not permit us smacking them up side the head. Hormones, school and peer pressure and perceived pressures from us make them do crazy things. They rebel, they act like they hate us, they often say things that break our hearts. I think the majority of them will come around as they get older....we did.
Someone suggested they were possessed by aliens. Possibly. More likely the primal urges. I say that as parents, we need to accept that, remember what we did(or wanted to do), take a deep breath and just keep loving them and not killing them.
So, if aliens do not possess teenage girls in general, is it possible they possess us? Maybe. I dont really believe in possessions of any sort(the mental kind, not the kind you buy with a dollar for all you smart-asses who were going to say something). I think your mind is either mainstream, in and out or you're gone, baby gone. You cant have your cake and eat it too, so make up your own mind. So to speak. You see people all the time, that act flaky or make crazy decisions. They invite trouble into their lives at every turn and some of them seem dull and lifeless, an empty shell. These are married people. Just kidding. Just like many spiritual or religious feelings, its all a mindset. Some people are born okay and turn doofy, some are born doofy and some are born just plain crazy.
We have seen those among us make horrible choices and never blink an eye. Most people need a swift, spiritual, kick to the head--shaka buku.
Then you have the real alien-possession cases: havent you met someone, somewhere that just seemed a little "off"? They dont seem like they're really, well, human. Kinda like the bald man from "Fringe". They have dead eyes and they move and talk like the body they wield is just a shell, like I mentioned a moment ago. Automaton is the word that comes to mind. So how do we know if its just a mentally deficient person or is it really some spy sent from above to keep tabs on something? I have met people just like this, they answer your queries and pleasantries with a no-nonsense, curt reply usually. There is a vibe they give off that just screams to you that something isnt right. Can you honestly say you've never met someone that gave you that feeling? I have, they usually worked for the government. LOL. Seriously, I've met people in my travels that almost seemed like, well, an android, for lack of a better term. They didnt "feel" like they were real, that is to say, I just didnt get an inkling that they were human. They literally made me feel they were just empty husks.
In the same vein, I would like to touch on the other big question we of the modern video age have: If there is life "out there", is there also life here that we dont have physical proof of? Yes, I think there probably is. Not that long ago we thought the celocanth was extinct and then some fishermen pulled one up in a net. Numerous sightings around the world, recorded even back hundreds of years ago, have told of men-like creatures that live furtive, secretive lives. They have been caught on fleeting bits of film and also been made the object of ridicule. Our friend Steven has asked why there is no serious research being done on them. Well, just like the celocanth, until someone comes up with a live one or a corpse, there probably never will be. I know of a couple instances where more than a few people saw a creature moving in daylight, albeit at a distance. You can make fun of me if you wish, but even with all the things I joke about, I believe there are things out there that we still dont have an inkling about. There are creatures yet to be discovered, probably because they are smart enough to avoid us. I will leave these subjects to be covered in depth at another date.
As I leave you to your thoughts about what I have touched upon tonight, I would like to remind you again that aliens do exist, but they are waiting til Chuck Norris dies to attack. Have a great night, rant again tomorrow. Leave me some suggestions if you have a mind to. Or do you HAVE a mind????.....androids....
